The 2025 version of the THE NORDIC ANIMIST WALL CALENDAR. The art of this years calendar is from the Swedish illustrator Ludvig Levin whose expression explores the world of Nordic Myth. Ludvigs images have a unique sense of elegance, power and mystique. With only 27 years we hope that this artist will one day take his place among the giants of Swedish illustration like John Bauer and Johan Egerkrans.
The Nordic Animist Calendar presents seasonal animism from Northern Europe. The purpose is to recover traditional ways of being in the world through the turning of the year. These traditional seasonal practices of animism may lead human communities towards less destructive ways of relating to the living.
